Q: Dear Doctor,
I have been wondering and trying to acquire without success, for
quite some time information about Dental Implants and their long
term effects on the immune system.
Available information is from dentists who do the procedure. The
outstanding question is whether the info is bias. Implants seem to
be the avant garde approach to tooth replacement and have been
suggested to me as an alternative.
Since you have touched upon Ozone, Mercury, laser stimulation, and
most importantly the seriousness of root canal and serious effects
on health, could you please expand or share what
you know on the subject of Dental Implants. The protocol is fast
becoming the new approach in dentistry. The metal is usually
Titanium.
Much obliged and grateful for any suggestions, input or redirection
to impartial study references
Carol Meccio, LMT, CHT

Dental implant problem could be having a bad taste in the mouth after having had a crown placed on the implant. Sometimes the dental implant problem may arise even after a year and there may not have been any dental implant problems initially and those that do arise may be due to installing the crown. The gums around the implant crown may begin to secrete a whitish and bad smelling fluid if the gums above the area are pressed. The source for the bad taste/smell could be from the build up of the fluid in the gums and sometimes even an inspection may not reveal any infection.

Dental implants are such tiny titanium that are surgically placed in to the jaw where teeth are missing due to some reason say accidents. The artificial tooth is attached with metal anchor and these anchor works like a tooth root substitutes. Implants also preserve facial structure and also prevents from bone deterioration which occurs when the teeth are missing. For any more information you can contact boca jaw surgery.

Dental implants are the best option for fixing your missing teeth. They are more prominent than bridges and dentures. In dental implant procedure an implant mostly made up of titanium is fixed in jawbone on the place of missing tooth. Once the implant is fixed and healed crown is posted on it. Thus the whole procedure took at-most 6-8 months or may even more than that. It will be better that dental implants specialist handle the surgery rather than general dentist. :)
