How Detoxamin works?

EDTA and chelation therapy has been the most recommended treatment by the Center for Disease Control for lead poisoning and other related toxic metal syndromes for decades now. Lead poisoning and lead poisoning symptoms along with mercury poisoning and mercury poisoning symptoms are helped greatly with proper detoxification. Chelation with Detoxamin and EDTA is your answer to Heavy Metal Overload.

Heavy Metal Overload in the walls of coronary arteries seems to decrease levels of nitric oxide, a compound known as "Endothelial Relaxing Factor,"- without this substance normal blood flow is impeded therefore increasing the risk of vascular blockages. Heavy Metal Overload in the adrenal glands reduce the production of hormones, which cause early aging, stress, decreased sex drive and aggravation of menopausal symptoms. Heavy Metal Overload can lead to unresponsiveness of diabetics to their medications. Heavy Metal Overload can lead to neurological diseases such as depression and loss of thinking power. It can also aggravate conditions such as osteoporosis and hypothyroidism. For obvious reasons, removing metals from the body safely has been a concern of physicians for many years.

The body has need for approximately 70 friendly trace element heavy metals, but there are another 12 poisonous heavy metals, such as Lead, Mercury, Aluminum, Arsenic, Cadmium, Nickel, etc., that act as poisonous interference to the enzyme systems and metabolism of the body.

No matter how many good health supplements or procedures one takes, heavy metal overload will be a detriment to the natural healing functions of the body. Therefore, chelation with Detoxamin and EDTA should be considered as the "first step" to any intelligent medical intervention. Whether it is lead poisoning, mercury poisoning from mercury in fish or general mercury toxicity or most other toxic metals, chelation with Detoxamin and EDTA is your answer.

Detoxamin removes most harmful toxins from the body, safely and effectively. Detoxamin is taken at night prior to bedtime, each Detoxamin suppository contains 750mg of Calcium-disodium EDTA, and is made in a cocoa-butter base (melts on body contact), which is very therapeutic for the rectal mucosa and the colon wall.

According to Dr. Bruce Halstead MD, Scientific Advisor to WHP, "The Ca-sodium form is able to bond (chelate) effectively because it does not lower the blood pH to a level that would prohibit the bonding action. The Ca added to the salt is important in this MOA (mode of administration) as it buffers the acidic quality of the active ingredient keeping the suppository from being abrasive to the mucous membrane of the rectum area. Ca-disodium EDTA has both a scientific justification for therapeutic effectiveness as well as a clinical history of effectiveness."

You probably already know about chelation (pronounced kee-lay-shun) therapy. A means of clearing the body of excess metals and minerals, it's traditionally administered through an IV infusion containing a synthetic amino acid called ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA). EDTA is a known chelating agent-meaning that it binds to metal and mineral molecules. (For this reason, the treatment is often referred to as "EDTA chelation.") The EDTA and the metal molecules are then excreted out of the body through the urine.

First used in the 1940s for heavy metal toxicity, chelation therapy was approved by the FDA for lead poisoning and remains the conventional treatment of choice. But in the 1960s, some forward-thinking doctors theorized that EDTA chelation might work for other problems as well, like combating the buildup of plaque in the arteries.

Talk about bad timing-about the time chelation was being suggested as a treatment for atherosclerosis, the first "successful" coronary bypass surgery was performed. The mainstream medical community embraced the bypass approach with fervor, and chelation was left in the dust.

But a small group of physicians stuck with it. And although most mainstream doctors still recommend costly, dangerous, and terribly invasive surgery, the IV chelation approach has grown slowly but steadily over the last several decades. The American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), a professional association that supports the use of chelation therapy, estimates that there were more than 800,000 IV chelation therapy sessions in the U.S. in 1997 alone. 1

Detoxamin is a new patented method of Ca-EDTA chelation therapy medically equivalent to I.V. chelation therapy-the difference is that Detoxamin introduces a smaller dosage on a nightly basis.

Each Detoxamin suppository is designed to release 750 mg of Ca-EDTA directly into the bloodstream through the colon wall-safely, gradually, effectively. When Detoxamin is taken prior to bedtime, there is less metabolic competition for EDTA, resulting in more passing through the system.

This fact, combined with the lower, more frequent dosage, provides for safer administration of EDTA.

At more than $3000 for a complete series of treatments, the cost of IV chelation can be prohibitive for many people. And it's inconvenient. For the full course, you have to visit your doctor's office or chelation clinic as many as 30 times, each time for as long as three hours.

But now there's a new way to get all the detoxifying benefits of chelation right in your own home at a fraction of the cost of IV treatments.

It's known as Detoxamin and it's a suppository. Aside from that, it's far preferable to IV treatment and certainly better than bypass surgery or any of the potential manifestations of heavy metal poisoning.

With Detoxamin; studies have shown that EDTA is readily absorbed in the colon. In fact, some chelation experts believe this new delivery method may be even more effective than IV administration, and safer too.

Detoxamin EDTA suppositories are inserted at night, before going to bed. This is not only convenient, but maximizes the efficiency of the treatment. During sleep, there is less metabolic competition for the EDTA, so the chelating agent doesn't have to work as hard. Plus, the chelating agent doesn't encounter as much resistance while you are lying down, so it can more effectively chelate the entire body.

The key component that makes Detoxamin EDTA suppositories equal to the I.V. chelation method is its high rate of absorption. Detoxamin EDTA suppositories allow 90-95% absorption of EDTA through the colon wall.

In fact, EDTA absorption with Detoxamin EDTA Suppositories is so high that you would need to take 135 oral EDTA tablets (500mg each) to equal just five Detoxamin EDTA suppositories. For every three Detoxamin EDTA suppositories you receive the medical equivalent of one I.V. chelation Treatment. This makes Detoxamin therapy the best method to deal with today's polluted world-hands down.

Detoxamin makes chelation therapy private, convenient, and less expensive.

Each suppository delivers 750 mg of EDTA, as opposed to the 2 grams delivered during an IV treatment. Three nights of suppository treatment deliver the same amount of EDTA received in one IV dose. But because it's so much more affordable and so convenient, most people don't have a problem with using Detoxamin EDTA suppositories more frequently. This approach results in less EDTA traveling through the body at a much slower rate, which puts less strain on the liver and kidneys.

Research has shown that Detoxamin EDTA suppositories can remove toxic metals from the body just as effectively as IV chelation.

An unpublished study for World Health Products shows that 10 consecutive days of treatment with Detoxamin EDTA suppositories significantly reduced blood lead levels in children with proven lead toxicity. After treatment with just one suppository, the children's urinary lead excretion skyrocketed from 4.23 mcd/gL to more than 325 mcd/gL.

30 suppositories.

Description and Background

Detoxamin is a rectal, time-release EDTA suppository. Why a suppository? Because IV EDTA chelation, although very efficacious, is very expensive, invasive, time-consuming and inconvenient. All this puts this needed therapy out of reach for most people. Detoxamin fits today's lifestyle with its simple, convenient, gentle and efficient toxin removal. As the world becomes more educated on the ravages of heavy metal toxiity, Detoxamin is simultaneously becoming the chelation method of choice-worldwide. This is due to the obvious convenience and affordability factor, but more importantly, to the extraordinary efficacy, safety and scientific validation through research.

World Health Products, LLC., the creator and leader in EDTA suppository technology, started developing this modality over ten years ago. Since then, our scientists and clinicians have worked hard to produce a product which is extremely well-tolerated, highly absorbed, safe for adults and children and easy to use. Detoxamin is the means to offer EDTA chelation to your patients without losing any of the benefits of IV EDTA chelation.

Based on Proprietary IV EDTA Comparison Studies

Over 8 hour half-life compared to 1.5 hours half-life for a single bolus of IV EDTA. Significant finding, long-lasting EDTA blood levels offers more time to efficiently chelate for slow, gentle, effective and safe EDTA chelation.

Detoxamin is 36.3% bio-equivalent to IV chelation- medically similar to proven IV EDTA chelation.

Significant, efficient long-lasting EDTA blood levels enable more efficient heavy metal clearance.

Higher EDTA tissue levels than IV EDTA chelation. Important because Detoxamin can reach and remove heavy metals right where they are located.

Higher EDTA concentrations were demonstrated in the prostate-good evidence for supporting healthy prostate structure and function.

Improved dissemination of EDTA-protecting cells, tissues and organs.
Clearly, Detoxamin offers distinct advantages over IV EDTA chelation. As patients become more concerned with costs, time constraints and invasive treatments, Detoxamin will be available to you to meet the demands of your patients.

Increased efficacy, improved safety, more convenience and affordability. Detoxamin. The proven leader.
