This is an invitation to an important conference in the Scottsdale area June 25th on LYME IN AUTISM (LIA). I currently believe that infections are at least as important as heavy metals and that food sensitivities, genetics, toxins and hormones are all involved.

The free link in this announcement will enable you to catch up by viewing all of the lectures presented last year. It provides you with an incredible education on Lyme, which for me is a concept that I prefer to call THE TOTAL BODY BURDEN OF INFECTION.

I was present for the LIA conference last year and I assure you that my presentation is just one of the talks that together provided ground breaking information that goes way beyond Autism. This knowledge is really applicable to all of the over 100 recognized Autoimmune related diseases we are all seeing today. All too often patients with complex illnesses are not recognized as being one of the many AUTOIMMUNE diseases. Once you recognize a condition as being autoimmune, it then means that it will require a broad based therapy to deal with the multifactorial etiology myself and many others finally recognize in all autoimmune conditions.

This means my FIGHT program comprising of a total planned program to address all contributing issues can provide real assistance to the over 27 million patients now being under treated often with very toxic medications that do not address the causes.

These videos that you can view provide useful ideas that I believe go beyond what most of us know about this infection component in these autoimmune diseases. Lyme may be just the tip of the iceberg when you hear more from this year’s presenters.

I am certain that there are multiple different infections contributing to our patient’s impaired health. We can see we have a seriously disturbed relationship between our declining immunity related to our increasing toxin load and the increasing aggressiveness of our total body pathogen burden. Whether you choose to call the infection component Lyme or Mycoplasma incognito or Chlamydia or any of the Herpes family like CMV makes little difference since most therapies generally have transient effects. That is why we need to approach patients with the total FIGHT For Their Health concept.

Even Oxidative therapies including OZONE, UVB or high dose IV Ascorbic Acid or ACS 200 silver cannot provide lasting benefits unless patient receive the full FIGHT program. Most of us need to become far more knowledgeable about the infection aspects of impaired health. Remember there are over 100 diseases now considered Autoimmune related and I believe there is some infection contributing to all of those patient conditions, which is why I believe that there are no magic bullets for this epidemic! Only a broad based approach dealing with all contributing factors can hope to restore health safely. This is why I am choosing to pursue my concept of F.I.G.H.T. FOR YOUR HEALTH, because we all need to become better able to deal with each of those contributing factors.

Do not miss this June 25th conference in Scottsdale/Fountain Hills. It will again feature outstanding presentations that you must learn if we are to be effective in restoring our patients to optimal health while living on a seriously polluted planet.

Donna Jackson Nakazawa the author of the breakthrough book The Autoimmune Epidemic, available for $14 from Amazon will be on this program. She will also speak in the Fall at the ACAM conference, which will be on autoimmune diseases.

Then Jeffery Smith will be here! His lecture on the dangers of GMO foods is a missing link in most of our teaching (author of Seeds of Deception).

Drs Mercola, Cowden and a host of other outstanding experts in this field make this June conference is a must attend for you. Please view at no charge the public presentations from last year with the link provided.

I am confident that you will agree that these speakers are dynamic and when you attend a LIA conference you will be glad you did. The Physician Training lectures from last year’s conference also viewable for a modest fee.

From Roadblocks to Recovery - June 25 - 28 Scottsdale, Arizona

Out of the 2008 Lyme-Autism Connection Conference came a new shift: we will increase our education for practitioners. Why? Families tell us they may see limited progress in the various treatment protocols, but they see a big jump in results when they work with an integrative practitioner who possesses cutting edge education. Several doctors who were first time attendees at the 2008 Lyme-Autism Connection conference said they were just "blown away" by the many aspects of the epidemic and the speed at which new information is coming to the forefront. Patients who attended had a full toolbox of information to take back to their doctors.

Data shows a growing number of families are affected by autism or by Lyme disease, and many children have both diagnoses. This conference focuses on intermingling traditional and alternative biomedical treatment for children and adults affected by Borrelia, multiple-infections and/or autism spectrum disorder, asperger's syndrome, and ADHD. You will hear presentations about environmental insults which exasperate symptoms in these disorders. You will hear presentations with the newest scientific data. We are also able to provide CME credits. Additionally, we estimate about 40 vendors.

Conference participants tell us we are "10 years ahead" of other conferences because of the vast amount of cutting edge information provided. So join us for our 2009 conference, "From Roadblocks to Recovery."

LIA Foundation teams up with CHOICE
Due to our complimentary missions, the LIA Foundation is teaming up with CHOICE for our 2009 conference. CHOICE was founded by Linda Hemming, a long time advocate for alternative medicine..a Lyme patient herself. Please read there mission and meet them at the 2009 conference "From Roadblocks to Recovery".

CHOICE is the voice of Arizona's patients and doctors, an organization born in Arizona in 2007 to ensure that a wide array of choices is available in medical care. http://www.ChoiceForHealthonline.com (website coming soon) CHOICE advocates for:
- Ability for doctors to pursue advanced treatments that go beyond the conventional Standard of Care which is shaped in large measure by the pharmaceutical industry.
- Emphasis on prevention and attainment of good health, not just "disease management" with costly interventions and drug prescriptions.
- Recognition that food is our best medicine. We need access to food that is free of pesticides/hormones/steroids, free of genetic modification, grown in nutrient rich soil. We need unfettered access to unprocessed food that has not been denatured for longer shelf life.
- Availability of a wide range of supplements including herbs, vitamins, and homeopathic remedies.
- Truth in labeling so we know when MSG and other additives are present in foods.
- Ability to accept or deny vaccinations for our children; those who feel vaccines and their components contribute to health problems should not be threatened with jail if they choose not to vaccinate.
- Full disclosure about medical microchips that would be implanted in the name of "safety."

We hope that you like the new things we are doing this year. See you in June!
Sincerely,
Tami Duncan
