Q: Doctors: I heard from a reliable source that 75 grams of beet derived C in 750ml of D5W along with calcium gluconate and KCL given daily for 21 days was effective in cancer. I have used twice weekly infusions in the past.

Does anyone have experience with this or a comment? I typically use sterile water and would think that the glucose would compete with C for entrance into cancer cells. It would also be a very high osmotic solution. Is there that much benefit to a non corn source of C?

A1: We use high dose IV C for cancer frequently and always beet derived. Most corn is GMO, more likely to be allergenic. We use it twice weekly and in sterile water to keep it a little less hyperosmolar. Theoretically glucose could compete for cell entry but I know of no data confirming this.

A2: I have been using vitamin C infusions for cancer patients for about seven years with very good results. A dosage of 75 grams per infusion is reasonable for adults. There exist many theories and formulas for using C infusions and I also have my own. First of all, non-corn vitamin C is a must. Based on extensive empirical clinical data, corn derived vitamin C just does not do the job. The fact that virtually all corn is now GMO probably accounts for some of the issues with corn C, but there are other reasons as well why corn would not be the best choice. In my practice, I always consider therapies from an energetic perspective. There are compelling energetic reasons why, even if there were no GMO considerations, beet-derived vitamin C is a superior medicine for cancer. As regards the addition of other meds in the mix (I have tried many formulas), I personally find the folllowing to be very effective: On two consecutive days, I give 65 to 100 grams of vitamin C in 500ml lactated ringers. The ringers seems to offer just enough buffer to prevent significant discomfort and still get done in about an hour or so. On an alternating basis, I always add either Heel Coenzyme comp. or Heel Ubichinon to the bag. On day three, I do autosanguinis therapy most often using Heel Viscum forte, Lymphomyosot, Tonsilla, Ubichinon and one other homeopathic that tests right for the individual patient's present state. I don't always use the same injection points because I have learned to work directly with the channel energies. However, you can use an injection protocol such as the one taught by Dr. Bruce Shelton. On days four and five, I repeat the vitamin C infusion and on day six I repeat the autosanguinis. For day seven I recommend spiritual work. For the vitamin C infusions to be most effective, the patient should be taking C orally as well. My personal opinion on the dosage for oral C for cancer patients is: 2 grams less than bowel tollerance, in a divided daily dose.

A3: Steve,

I would be very wary of that. The reason is, is that beets are the next thing to be geneticallly engineered. There is a petition out there protesting this very thing.

A4: Chemically the vitamin C is the same. The only difference I can dream of is residual plant proteins left over from whatever source. After all the treatment that C goes thru before it becomes an IV… I personally don’t think it is an issue. I hold the same opinion on the sugar and C competition and have wondered if water might be the better choice. Also I wonder if Insulin might help carry the C into the cell?

A5: the confusion about non-corn vit C was due to the fact that the standard pill bulk C was called C90 and had corn starch as a filler.
the corn starch caused some allergic reactions so people wanted to avoid allergic rxn and went to Beet C But the rxn was to the corn starch not to the ascorbic acid.
Just a confusion
