Q: I am a 23 year old male. I am significantly overweight and have a job that I remain sitting for very long periods of time. I get small spots of blood on my toilet paper occasionally after having a large bowel movement or straining to pass a bowel movement. Sometimes it is Itchy following wiping. I often feel a sting when stool passes through into the toilet. My grandmother is a Colon cancer survivor (in her 60s) and my mother had a polyp removed awhile back (in her 50s). Does this require further investigation?
