Q: I am interested in hearing from any doctors who are getting good results using the "PK Protocol" (intravenous glutathione, phosphatidyl choline, and folinic acid) to treat neurologic diseases. I would particularly like to know in how many patients you have used it, and what kind of results you are seeing on average.

A1: Dr. Shallenberger,
The best way to learn about our clinical results is to take our biomedical course. Unfortunately, it was last weekend. I invite you to attend our fall seminar.

If you are interested I would be happy to give you names of doctors who use our IV protocol but wouldn't it make more sense to see patient case histories that we have at our clinic? Or even visit our clinic?

Patients with ALS, MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, NeuroLyme, Autism, PDD, and seizure disorders are all responsive to the PK Protocol. We have treated thousands of patients over the past 7 years. (over 900 ALS patients)

I do have one major problem with physicians who use my protocol, not having attended our course. Doctors frequently use the wrong materials. If you use a compounded phosphatidylcholine you are going to see nothing but problems- phlebitis and.... kidney failure. PLEASE only use Lipostabil. Secondly, do not use glutathione other than Wellness or Medhaus. If the proper materials are not going to be used please do not use my protocol.

There is a medical book to obtain to learn the PK Protocol that was just updated recently. It can be obtained at not allowed class="postlink" href="http://www.bodybio.com">http://www.bodybio.com . We also have medical instructional and clinical manuals but these are only given out in the actual medical courses. The PK Protocol has been filed as a patent.

The PK Protocol has been presented at the NIH, Harvard, Columbia The Royal College of Physicians, Johns Hopkins and international conservative medical conferences.

You may contact me at our clinic. Our phone # is 610.924.0600 Patricia Kane, Ph.D.

A2: Dear Frank,
I started to use the PK protocol six months ago and I treated more than 20 patients with it. For the intravenous protocol I use 10-15 ml Lipostabil, 5 mg folinic acid and 1200-3000 mg glutathione (Italian source) and sometimes 10 mg hydroxycobalamin and sometimes 1 gram magnesium sulfate..
I had very good responses in the 2 patients with Lyme disease in this group.
One patient with many cognitive complaints and motional instability after epidural hematoma improved wonderfully. One patient with M.S. didn't improve after 20 infusions, another patient with M.S. had quite a strong reaction to glutathion or PC and stopped temporarily after 5 infusions. Several patients with therapy resistant CFS/FM were treated and half of these improved more or less after 20 infusions.
The last 3 months I am doing the lipd analysis in Johns Hopkins hoping to improve the treatment.
Kind regards,

Paul van Meerendonk, MD

A3: I recognized a name and so I thought I'd share what I have found with using Gluithione and Lipolic acid. I have 12 MS patients that went into remission only one was on convential therapy at the same time. I have one Parkinism patient that can now walk balanced and write his name. I have one MS patient who is still wheelchair bound.
