Q: I'm heading off to a medical brigade in Honduras in a couple weeks. We'll be doing basic kinds of stuff down there, I hear. They're packing a bunch of allopathic things: abx, etc, but I can bring some stuff, too. Any suggestions on things to bring (for me or for the people we'll be seeing)?
Even better, are there native medicinal plants that I can point them to for when we're not there?

I found Mastic gum which is fantatstic for Reflux in our latitudes also very effective for tropical enteritis. Lets hear about your trip when you are back.
The entire third world is being poisoned by American style cheap highly processed oil which you will encounter in restaurant food. I get inflammatory aches and pains travelling inMexico and further south unless I carry Salmonoil with GLA along as the antidote.
