Reverse urinary incontinence naturally with a rebounder
by: Melissa Makris

Millions of Americans suffer from urinary incontinence. Not all of them are seniors; even people in their twenties and thirties are faced with loss of bladder control. It is one of the most common chronic medical conditions seen by family physicians, and the number of people affected is growing rapidly. The rebounder can be used as a safe, natural, effective treatment for urinary incontinence.

The most common conventional treatments for lack of bladder control are prescription medications and/or adult diapers. Each industry brings in billions of dollars a year from people suffering from this embarrassing condition.

Prescription medications work by either strengthening the bladder's sphincter or relaxing the bladder so it can hold more urine. These drugs are by no means a permanent or full-proof fix. Plus they generally have a laundry list of undesirable side effects.

The alternative for many is adult diapers, which simply prevent accidents from being noticeable by others. These products carry a strong social stigma that can wreck the wearer's self esteem.

Neither treatment offers the kind of symptom relief one can achieve from bouncing on a rebounder.

This is because the rebounder is a cellular exercise. Bouncing up and down, even very gently, allows every cell in the body to become stronger. This, of course, includes the bladder sphincter muscles as well as the bladder itself. Increased cellular strength in these areas provide the control needed to permanently correct urinary incontinence issues. Generally, improvement can be seen in as little as two weeks.

This includes women, who have developed a weakened pelvic floor from multiple childbirths, or men, who have trouble emptying their bladders do to enlarged prostates.

One should start slowly for just a few minutes each day, visiting the bathroom as needed. Over time the bathroom visits will become less and less frequent until loss of bladder control is no longer a concern.

It is important to note that a high-quality rebounder is needed for these kind of results. This is always the case for any health benefits achieved with rebounding. The lower-priced units will be too jarring and can actually make health conditions such as urinary incontinence much worse.
