I have heard and read something about being diabetic and being incontinent. Is it normal that once you are incontinent, you are also diabetic? Does this diabetes can trigger the incontinence issue?

Thanks..

I recently heard that having diabetes doubles your risk of having Alzheimer's. Why is this?? If someone with diabetes watches what they eat and exercises regularly are they at the same risk as those diabetics who do not.

Diabetes is very common disease now but that doesn't make it simple thing to handle. Every fourth person now have diabetes and is dealing with it. There should be some way of curing it before the tim or in the early stages.

My father is a diabetic patient and he does not use to take any medicine..
He used to go for a morning walk daily and also do some yoga and he had not completely stopped consuming sugar..
So, i just wanted to know whether medicines are really important for controlling diabetes or it just can be controlled by walks and yoga..?
And also should he completely stop consuming sugar..?

Eating watercress can help you prevent diabetes. With the presence of alpha-lipoic acid in its content, one of top health benefits of watercress is to promote the diabetes treatment.

This antioxidant is effective to reduce your glucose levels, raise the insulin sensitivity as well as protect diabetic patients from oxidative stress .

Research on the effectiveness of alpha-lipoic acid indicated that it might reduce peripheral neuropathy.
