A transformation in the way we practice medicine also requires changes
in medical education and training. That's why the Clinic supports a variety of
educational initiatives aimed at undergraduates, health professionals, medical students,
residents, holistic clinics, medical spa's/spas (spa courses)
and faculty.
The clinic is currently in the midst of a revision of
its medical curriculum as part of our commitment to the best practice of
medicine. We are developing and teaching courses in the medical
practice, and are bringing an integrative perspective into the foreign
and the resident clinics.
We provide monthly presentations on CAM
(complementary and alternative) therapies to students and faculty in
order to facilitate the understanding of these therapies in an
integrative model of healthcare.

Research
In order to create a national model for integrative care, we must be
able to evaluate the effectiveness of the tools and approaches that we
use at our clinic and retreats and to determine their wider application.
Current grants allow us to assess the efficacy of various components of
our wellness-plan format, to answer the question of how to best support
patients in their wellness goals, to develop comprehensive strategies
for chronic conditions such as
depression and
diabetes, and to look at
the influence of spirituality in the progress of
congestive heart
failure and its possible application to other chronic diseases.

responsible for one of the most important discoveries ever made.
Throughout nearly 60 years of laboratory research, Dr. Enderlein
performed pioneering work in the study of chronic disease that
led to the development of biological remedies that were
remarkable in their ability to heal patients with serious
conditions. In this course, students will investigate Dr.
Enderlein’s discoveries of pleomorphism and how darkfield
microscopy is used to determine a person’s health status based
on Enderlein’s findings.

The advanced training
furthers the student’s investigation of pleomorphic findings in
the blood as related to Professor Gunther Enderlein’s Bacterial
Cyclogeny. This study will provide an understanding of the role
that bacterial and fungal developments play in metabolic and
congestive complications leading to degenerative disease. On
successful completion of this course, the student will be able
to effectively evaluate live blood and have a working knowledge
of biological remedies and the role they play in maintaining and
improving health.
